Son's and "Daughter's" wedding card

I made this card for my son's (my baby) & his bride's wedding this Saturday. The card is 8 1/2x11 folded. I used white textured cardstock for the base. Their names on the front is layered Nestabilities ovals, radiance white, glitter white, and a charcoal foil. The couple is from Cricut's Wedding Solutions cut at 3 1/2" done in charcoal foil shadowed with glitter white. The bell is from the same cartridge cut at 2" and cut in glitter white, shadowed in the charcoal foil and the bell layer was done in gold foil. The "lace" on the 2 sides is a Martha Stewart punch. It all sits on a piece of embossed white cardstock. I added a few pearls and a piece of ribbon. The inside is computer generated as is my logo on the back of the card.

Symapathy Card

This card was done with my Cricut machine. The bird and the branch with flowers is from Home Decor - the bird cut at 1 3/4" & the branch at 3". The "with sympathy" is from Calligraphy at 2". The card is 8 1/2" x 11" folded - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" in black textured cardstock. The 1st colored rectangle is 7 1/2" x 4 1/2", the black rectangle is 6 1/2" x 3 1/2". The smaller colored rectangle is 6" x 3". There can be so many variations of this card - just changing the colored paper and using different store-bought flowers or cutting flowers from the many cartridges - the possibilities are endless.

Wedding Card

Wedding Card - 5"x7" - Cuttlebug embossing folder, Butterfly is from Cricut's

Wednesday, September 2, 2009

Here is a card I made for my Son's and Daughter-in-Law's 5th Anniversary. I can't believe it's 5 years already. I used Cuttlebug's Swiss Dots and D'Vine Swirls. I used Cricut's Wedding Solution's scallopped heart shadow for the hearts (I cut the scallops off the plain ones). I used Cricut's Ashlyn's Alphabet for the "Happy Anniversary" but had a problem since it does not have a shadow feature, so I made it a bit bigger but it didn't work just right. I used Cricut's Storybook for the flowers. Martha Stewart's Doily punch, stickles and glitter, ribbon and lots of pop-dots and voila!

Centerpiece for baby shower

I created this centerpiece for my daughter who was throwing a baby shower for her friend. She saw the idea in my craft room (I had printed out a picture of one done at Cricut's messageboard) so I made it for her. It was pretty easy, except that I had a lot of trouble cutting the chipboard. I cut the chipboard and cardstock at fit to page and the Cricut machine cut the stork at 11 1/2 in. The stork is 2 sided. I then used a piece of fabric I had, I folded it in thirds placing a piece of cardboard in the bottom for support. I rolled the diapers and then tied the bundle with a scrap pieceof ribbon. Then added the stork with the wide pretty ribbon.

Birthday Card for Daughter

On this card I used Cricut's Indie Arts cartridge for the butterfly & heart. I used Stampin' Up's Manhattan Rose embossing folder by Sizzix. I also used ribbon, pearls, stickles, and nestabilitites. The greeting on the front and the message inside were computer generated.

1st Birthday

I created this card for a baby boy's 1st birthday. I used Cricut cartridges: A Child's Year, Celebrations and Mickey Font. I used an edger punch and added a piece of ribbon and called it done.

This is a card I made for a Bridal Shower. Umbrella is from Cricut's New Arrival, Martha Stewart edge punch, ribbon, pearls and pop-dotted.
This card is made by using the border function on Cricut's Life's a Beach's Hibiscus. I used one of Martha Stewart's edge punches of the layered borders and a little stickles glitter.

This card was made using Nestabilities for embossing only creating the circle. The carriage is from Cricut's New Arrival, edge punch, ribbon, dots in the corners are called "Pebbles". The "Welcome Baby" was cut 3 times for dimension with Cuttlebug's Baby Combo Set.

Father's Day Cards

I made this card for my husband for Father's day. I used the lion from Cricut's Animal Kingdom and enhanced his mane with quilling. Cuttlebug's Swiss Dots and computer generated words finished the card.

I made this card for my son-in-law for Father's Day. The "Happy Father's Day" sheet pulls out and is the message. In that pocket there are more pictures for a total of 9 pictures of my adorable grandson. I found the directions for this wallet on YouTube: http:/www.youtube.com/watch?v=0CJ3MuD9UZ8.

"Happily Ever After" Wedding Card

This wedding card was made from Belle's dress on Cricut's "Dreams Come True" cartridge. I used Cricut's Design Studio to weld the dress at the shoulders and cut the various pieces from different types of white cardstock (pearl, glitter, textured), used ribbon and lots of pearls.

My first tri-fold card

This is my first Tri-fold card. Directions for card can be found on YouTube here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=su-3T3sd40.
